i'm jay, a documentary filmmaker and creative technologist based in east london. i make films, build tools, and with my girlfriend annika, occasionally turn abandoned warehouses into studios.
i co-founded EditAssist, an intelligent editing engine for filmmakers and editors, built to understand not just what's in the footage, but why a cut feels right. before that i spent years directing music videos and creative work for artists like raye, d block europe, nothing but thieves and jme, across universal, sony and warp.
these days i'm more interested in documentary work, human stories, and building things that give more people the ability to tell theirs.
